More pedestrian signage needed

Idea
My husband and I are frequent walkers in Rehoboth and Dewey. We have witnessed countless near miss collisions between bikers and pedestrians due to pedestrians walking the incorrect direction on the shoulder. The only indicators we have seen are on route one near Tower Rd. and by the sailboat marina. We feel that the town should look into more signage particularly on the stretch from Silver Lake to downtown Dewey. Thanks so much for listening to our concerns.

Thank you for this suggestion. It has been shared with our public works department but as this area is outside of city limits, I'm not sure there is anything that we can do. I will check to see if there is a contact at DelDOT that we can share this suggestion with.
